GENERAL SAFETY RULES
Saudi Friends Engineering and Construction Company Ltd. (SFEC) is committed to prevention of accidents to minimize loss of life or bodily injury and damages to its physical assets. In fulfilling these commitments, which is essential and equally important as a production objection, SFEC will provide and maintain a safe and a healthful work environment and to protect the public against foreseeable hazards resulting from operation.
- 1. Follow instruction : don't take chances, if you don't know ask.
- 2. Correct and report unsafe act and conditions.
- 3. Help keep every thing clean and orderly.
- 4. Observe and obey all warning signs.
- 5. Unauthorized personnel are not permitted on the job sites.
- 6. No employee is permitted to work before or after regular working hours without supervision.
- 7. Ascent or descent of structure may be made only by the aid of ladder, stairways or other means provided for this purpose.
- 8. Report all injuries: get first aid promptly.
- 9. Fighting or horseplay will not be tolerated.
- 10. No Firearms or other weapons are permitted on the job site.
- 11. The use, possession or being under the influence of illegal drugs or intoxicants is prohibited on the job site. The site manager must clear all prescription drug use.
- 12. Use the right tools and equipment for the job, use them safely. Avoid walking or working under a suspended load.
- 13. Use , adjust and repair equipment only when authorized.
- 14. Use prescribed personal protective equipment, keep them in good condition.
- 15. Observe no smoking rules.
- 16. Only authorized personnel may carry out electrical repairs.
- 17. Fire protection is to be used for fire fighting purpose only: never obstruct fire fighting equipment.
- 18. Flammable liquid are to be kept in approved container, original container or adequate fire safety can(metal).
- 19. ALL INJURIES, No matter how slight must be reported IMMEDIATELY to your supervisor.
- 20. All employees working on the job site must wear an identification card with contractor badge number at all times.
- 21. All employees must comply the Saudi Arabian Govt. safety rules and regulation and the company safety policy.
- 22. All drivers must comply with Saudi Arabian Govt. traffic rules and regulation.
- 23. All motorized motor vehicle shall be operated by a licensed personnel.
- 24. Smoking is allowed on designated area only under controlled condition
- 25. Horseplay or practical jokes is prohibited on construction site. Any accident or near misses shall be reported to the supervisor. All employees shall obey the warning sign at the construction site. If have any question, please ask the immediate supervisor.
